From OCT 15 - OCT 29.

Venice - Florence - Santorini - Bordeaux - Hourtin Plage - Hossegor - Biarritz - Paris.

From Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to Paris -

Airline: Air Caraïbes 8h 30mins long. Price: 1341.24 euro (for two)

From Paris To Venice:

Airline: EasyJet, 1h 30min hour flight. Price: 141.59 euro (for two)

From Venice to Florence, back to Venice the same day:

Italy Train (Expresso), 2 hours. Price: 200 euros (for two) -

From Venice to Santorini:

Airline: Volotea, 2 hour flight. Price: 112.96 euro (for two)

From Santorini to Bordeaux:

Vueling (3h20mins to Barcelona, 3hr stop in the airport, 1 hour from Barcelona to Bordeaux)

Price: US$ 436.92 (for two)

From Bordeaux to Paris:

NSCF Train (4h30mins) 70 euros (for two). You can take the expresso Train that only lasts 2h30mins and was only 90 euros (for two), but for us was more convenient to take the slower one because it left us very close to our final destination.

Recommendation: Read very carefully the weight and baggage size allowed in each airline. This airlines are low cost  (except Air Caraïbes) so they charge for every baggage, and they are very strict with over weight (even one pound). Also, they don’t give any food or water, you have to buy it if you want it. These flights were full all the time, very long lines, so try to be at the airport on time.

Total expenses including airline tickets & hotels: US$ 3268 (for two)

Food, transportation, shopping, everything: US$ 1880 (for two).

We spent this amount of money because we got invited to stay four nights at Ca’ dell’Angelo, a beautiful hotel in Venice Island owned by my brothers sister in law. Our last night in Venice we moved to a Hotel next to the airport and paid 120 euros the night. In France (Paris & Hourtin) we stayed in our friends house. Biarritz, Bordeaux & Hossegor were same day roundtrip from Hourtin. We paid for Absolute Bliss Hotel in Santorini a total of US$563 for 3 nights. The first two days of our trip we met with my mom in Venice, who paid for two lunches, and two dinners for us. She algo paid the Gondola ride thats 80euros for 40 mins, (or you can take a 1h20mins ride for 125 euro) . So basically we saved around 300 euros while we were with her and saved 800 euro from Venice Hotel. So, if you don’t have a place to stay in Venice, you can already add a thousand euros to my budget. Also, add about 3 nights in bordeaux (85 euro x 3 = 255), 2 nights paris (200 euro). Also, you would have to rent a car if you want to go from Bordeaux to Hourtin Plage, Hossegor & Biarritz (we went with our friends who own a car) so add about 400 euro more. I’d say you should add 2300 euros to my budget if you’re planning to do the same trip, giving you a total of US$ 5150 + US$ 2800 = US$ 8000 for two.
